The New 52nd State Senate District

State Senate District 52 is located in Northwest Georgia comprising of all of Floyd County, and portions of Bartow, Chattooga, and Gordon counties. The district includes portions or all of the incorporated cities of Rome, Cartersville, Calhoun, Adairsville, Lyerly, Cave Spring, Kingston, Euharlee, Taylorsville, Resaca and Plainville.

During the 2011 General Assembly Special Session on Reapportionment, 52nd State Senator Barry Loudermilk was drawn into the newly created Senate Distict 14. This change created an open senate seat with no incumbent for the 52nd.

Endorsed by former 52nd state senators Preston W. Smith and Barry Loudermilk, Chad Whitefield is the candidate conservatives trust. With businesses in Bartow, Chattooga, Floyd, and Gordon, Chad Whitefield has a vested interest in all of the 52nd.
