Chad Whitefield is a committed pro-family, pro-life conservative. As a member of Georgia Right to Life and supporter of the Rome Pregnancy Center, Whitefield has a proven record of supporting the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. An active member of his church and the faith-based community, Whitefield knows that the solutions to our problems will not come from the government but the people.

Education
Chad Whitefield believes that meaningful education reform is paramount if we are to create a better society for future generations. We must provide our educators with every possible advantage to educate our children and prepare them for the challenges of the future. Whitefield is committed to the idea that every child can learn and that education is best left at the most local decision level possible – the family. Education works best when decisions are not made at the state level with a one-size fits all philosophy, but rather with parents, students, teachers, and administrators.
 
Roads
Chad Whitefield has a proven record of supporting transportation proposals that mean economic development. Whitefield will continue being a strong voice to complete the 411 Connector to allow Northwest Georgia to have easier economic access to the rest of the state. For too long, politicians have put politics above people in regards to the Connector. Now is the time to get the Connector built and open the gate to more economic progress.

Constitution
Chad Whitefield is a Constitution conservative. As a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association and active member of the TEA Party movement, Whitefield has arecord of being a strict constructionist. No proposed legislation will receive Whitefield’s support if it increases the size of government, erodes our values, or violates the Constitution.

Local Control
As a county commissioner, Chad Whitefield knows the strain unfunded mandates from federal and state bureaucracies have on local governments. Whitefield is committed to returning power to ‘We the People’ and away from the politicians in power.
